HEALTHCARE PRODUCT MARKETING AND ADVERTISING POLICY
All distributors promoting or offering FMA Benefits healthcare products are required to adhere to and comply with the following guidelines and all other provisions outlined in the Company's Policies and Procedures.
Distributors steps to introduce the Healthcare Product:
- 1. Make it clear that prospective customers must either be or become a Youngevity distributor to take advantage of the healthcare products and that the healthcare product is merely an optional benefit of status as a Youngevity distributor.
- 2. Direct prospective customers to the official healthcare website (list site URL) and tell them that as a Youngevity distributor, you are not qualified to give any sort of health benefit guidance other than to direct them to the website and let them come to their own judgment.
- 3. Encourage prospects to schedule an appointment with one of FMA Benefits' licensed agents for benefit counseling.
- 4. Utilize only pre-approved materials that describe the benefit, which may include electronic or mail communicators.
Distributors must not:
- 1. Hold themselves out as insurance agents or health benefits advisors or consultants, or as having any expertise in health benefits.
- 2. Provide information on plan designs, benefits, coverage options, or details to prospects. Simply refer them to the website and licensed individuals.
- 3. Solicit prospects through offers of remuneration, enticements, bribes, kickbacks, or incentives. Do not ask them or urge them to buy the product or to apply for the product.
- 4. Make promises concerning healthcare products, whether truthful and sincere or not, and certainly do not make any false, misleading, or deceptive promises concerning healthcare products.
- 5. Advise or recommend prospects to provide false information on healthcare applications to gain acceptance.
- 6. Recruit individuals who do not meet the qualifications to become a Youngevity Distributor.
- 7. Suggest or imply that prospects should cancel their existing healthcare coverage to enroll in any new healthcare plan.
- 8. Create websites, electronic media, or printed materials related to healthcare products.
- 9. Use unapproved marketing materials, including emails, mailers, advertisements, or flyers.
- 10. Engage in telephonic campaigns, utilize robo dialers, or employ marketing or telemarketing entities for such purposes.
- 11. Employ sales or marketing tactics of any kind.
Distributors found in violation of these policies and procedures may face suspension, revocation, or termination of their distributorship with Youngevity, and might also face penalties from state insurance regulators.
FMA Services
Helping others to live younger, longer has been a guiding principle at Youngevity since its inception in 1997. We believe that this can only be achieved by providing the very best solutions in holistic health. This means we look at both sides of the topic—proactive and reactive health—allowing us to live our best lives by acknowledging what is most important: health.
Equal to our dedication to health is our admiration for the amazing distributors and customers we call family. The reason we thrive is because of the many people who believe in Dr. Wallach’s message, boldly sharing it around the world! In return, our Distributors have their privileges. While it’s always nice when things go smoothly, let’s face it, life can be challenging. We all work hard providing for our families, and we want to feel confident that our assets are protected. One of our biggest individual threats occurs by not having the right kind of health benefits or insurance.
Youngevity has made the exciting decision to partner with FMA Benefits to provide our Distributors the opportunity to obtain an affordable health care plan. If you don’t have insurance, have too little coverage, or are paying too much for the coverage you have, they are able to provide you with options to explore.
